Wood Fired Sauna

A place where the warmth of timber meets the fresh air of the garden, and the everyday gives way to a quieter moment. We wanted to capture that feeling when creating this bespoke sauna.

Outside, dark timber cladding brings texture and depth, its individual pieces catching the light throughout the day. Nestled amongst the planting, the building feels connected to the garden, with soft lighting offering a warm welcome as evening draws in.

Inside, the natural warmth of wood creates a setting for rest and relaxation. The window frames a view of the greenery beyond, keeping that connection to the outdoors even as the fire warms the space.

For us, craftsmanship is as much about how a place feels as how it looks. From the materials we choose to the details we finish by hand, each decision helps turn a building into somewhere you want to spend time.

Creating something individual, purposeful and made to be enjoyed for years to come is at the heart of what we do at Modern Heritage.
