The Arches

Nestled within the breathtaking surroundings of Fonthill Estate, The Arches offers a hidden gem of self-catering accommodation. This quaint guesthouse, located within the 18th-century walls of the gatekeeper’s cottage, exudes its own unique charm. It was crucial that our renovations honored its historic stature.

We designed and fabricated an oak kitchen, thoughtfully incorporating personalised touches to maximize the small space. One of the standout features includes a chopping board and tray that seamlessly fit into the kitchen frontals, adding both functionality and elegance. The kitchen was painted in a bold, Liquorice Farrow & Ball colour, creating a striking contrast with the beautifully set off LVT Harvey Maria flooring.

We reclaimed a butler sink and restored to its magnificent glory, positioned perfectly beneath the oval-shaped Kitchen window. This window offers stunning views of the picturesque grounds surrounding The Arches, making it arguably the best location to do the dishes.

This renovations stands as a testament to our commitment to preserving historical integrity while providing modern comforts. It is a sanctuary where guests can immerse themselves in the serene beauty of the Fonthill Estate, enjoying a blend of timeless charm and contemporary luxury.
