Harlem Lodge
Natural light is so important with both architecture & interior design.
Strategically placing windows to allow the light to beam through a property portrays a more expansive and spacious environment.
It brings the feeling of being outside whilst still enjoying the warmth of your home in the often unpredictable British weather.
The light projects through this ornate home, glistening between the smart profile alitherm heritage windows. Giving you the classic Crittal look window frame but with a 21st Century efficiency.
Situated next to the beautiful Saint Stephens Church.
This Edwardian property is once again listed in a conservation area in the bustling city of Bath.
This large and complex renovation was completed at the end of 2021. Often behind an extensive design such as this, a lot of preparation work goes into achieving that photo finish, for instance this protect had to be stripped back before it could progress. Steel formwork and cast concrete retaining walls were positioned, to not only support the land behind but to prevent any water damage in the future. Complicated steel work to allow for the glazing on both the roof and walls. Removal of existing electrics as well as a redesign of the original layout. Allowing us to install underfloor heating and configure the new electrics. In true Modern Heritage style we retained existing features in doors & timber work windows and authentic fireplaces.
